I’m honored to share that Voz will be part of the Urban Soils Institute’s 10th Symposium.
During the summer of 2025, an artistic residency in Voz—a voice-led vibrational meditation practice—invited participants to explore resonance as a way to cultivate reciprocal connection with soil, place, and presence. Rather than extracting from the land, Voz asks: How do we listen? How do we respond? How do we vibrate with care?
At the symposium, Voz will be presented as an experiential installation and activation. Visitors will be invited to participate in a short Voz meditation, offering direct context for how the practice unfolds. The exhibition will include elements of the collective altar, selected testimonies from summer participants, and the essay Finding Harmony (2024)—a written reflection grounded in disability studies and an anti-colonial approach to relating with land through vibration.
In addition, a short film from the Swale House residency will screen in a continuous loop alongside other works, extending the practice into the visual realm.
This offering invites visitors to experience vibration as an entry point into Earth’s intelligence—a way of knowing rooted not in control, but in relationship.
