Welcome to Voz, a sonic, voice-led meditation that invites you back into your body, back into your breath, and back into the calm that has always been yours. Voz keeps you grounded while expanding your sensibility—opening new ways of understanding your experience of life. Through the vibration of your own voice, a channel awakens: steady, ancient, and deeply connected to the spiritual world.
This practice is inspired by the teachings of Virginia Gascón, who says that every human being is born with a powerful channel that connects the physical body, mind, soul, and emotions. Each of us carries a unique voice—our Voz Esencial.
I began practicing Voz Esencial in 2020, during a time marked by intense anxiety, panic attacks, and the physical changes of menopause. I was living with pain in my knees, emotional turbulence, and the weight of unprocessed experiences. Voz Esencial became a turning point in my healing. It gave my mind a place to rest, my emotions a place to move, and my body a way to soften. It helped me understand that if I am vibration in matter, then I can also ease the vibration of pain.
Virginia taught me through Cantos del Alma—her way of weaving ancient chanting traditions to help us uncover our Essential Voice. Even though our classes have always been over Zoom, with her in Argentina and me in Brooklyn, her guidance has shaped my path. And with her blessing, I now share this practice with others. I am still her student, but I am also walking my own path through sound.
As my practice grew, I felt a deep need to share it in person. I invited friends and neighbors to gather, to breathe together, and to explore our voices in community. From there, Voz, my personal approach to reaching the Essential Voice, began to take form.
Voz brings your attention from the busy terrain of the mind into the body—into the heart. During meditation, we use vibration to unblock or activate areas with low energy, allowing emotions, memories, images, and sensations to move. Each 90-minute session begins with movement to release tension, continues with a vocal journey guided by sound, and ends with a moment of integration and recognition of your current state.
Voz is a practice of emergence harmony. It is a key—a vibrational path that opens doors to spaces beyond the physical, to realms of intuition and subtle perception. Through sound, we reconnect with the intelligence of our bodies, and with a planet whose pulse is always singing beneath us.
